Following The Chaos On Kangana Ranaut's Flight, Directorate General Of Civil Aviation Issues Orders To Take Action Against Unruly Passengers
As Kangana Ranaut landed in Mumbai on September 9, chaos like situation arised in the flight as media personnel reportedly breached safety protocol to get a reaction from the actress
Kangana Ranaut who spent the past few months in Manali returned to Mumbai on September 9. She returned after her reported war of words with the Maharashtra Government. Centre approved to give her Y+ security and she walked out of the Mumbai airport with CRPF officials providing her with a security cover. However, before that, inside the aircraft, a chaos like situation arised. A few media people were also onboard the aircraft in which Kangana returned to Mumbai and as the plane landed, media personnel moved forward to take a reaction of the actress, allegedly breaching the safety norms.
Over this, now, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has passed an order to the said airline to take action against the unruly passengers on the aircraft. As reported by Times of India, DGCA officials said, "There are multiple issues. The prominent ones include photography on board in violation of rules. Violation of Covid protocols and certain actions fall within the purview of unruly behaviour on board. We have asked the airline to take appropriate action against those responsible."
Officials further added, "This situation could have been avoided by not allowing so many of them at boarding time. If IndiGo personnel felt they can’t stop it, they could have taken help from security personnel at Chandigarh airport. The airline needs to take action on this front also." On the other hand, the airline has maintained that the requisite protocols were followed and repeated announcements were made by the staff urging all to follow the rules and remain seated.
